Background:
Dr. Collins assisted in the development approval process to provide traffic
engineering services for the proposed 45 acre, 215,000 square foot
Woodland Middle school located in North Port, Florida.
Existing roadway conditions were inventoried for traffic volume, traffic
signal operations and intersection geometries. Assistance through the
driveway connection permitting process was also provided.
Items of significance included the roadway alignment of Panacea Boulevard,
a traffic signal warrant evaluation, and proportionate share agreements of
mitigation associated with the Panacea DRI.
