Background:
ADEAS-Q was retained to develop preliminary layout designs for general
streetscape improvements along Central Avenue from Park Street to 58th Street.
Together with the City and the West Central Business District, preliminary
designs were developed to reduce speeding on Central Avenue, improve both the
function and aesthetic along the sidewalk, improve bicycle access, and to
improve the pedestrian connectivity while needing to maintain the existing
four-lanes of roadway.
