Background:

Dr. Collins managed all of the elements related to the transportation permitting of Paradise Shoppes, a mixed-use retail development located at the interchange of the Suncoast Parkway & SR 54. This public-private partnership consisted of the development and engineering of Ashley Glen Boulevard. Efforts included the intersection and roadway design, interconnected signalization of SR 54 & Ashley Glen Boulevard, and development of a new traffic signal phasing plan for six intersections on SR 54. Technical assistance with the Florida DOT driveway connection permit was also provided.
