ADEAS-Q utilized StreetLightData for a travel-time and origin-destination study in Southwest Florida. The purpose of this effort was to demonstrate that actual travel time data collected from real-time GPS and cellphone location devices can provide a robust and verifiable data source. More importantly, this data published by an independent third party data provider is considered a more appropriate method than simply referencing free search engine web sites from where the data cannot be independently verified. Dr. Collins provided expert witness testimony on this topic accepted in a State of Florida Administrative Hearing in Tallahassee.
