Background:
ADEAS-Q provided professional engineering services for the City of Tampa to upgrade the existing traffic signal at the intersection of Morgan Street & Whiting Street. The project includes providing sidewalk and crosswalk improvements necessary to accommodate Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) criteria at the intersection. Due to limited right-of-way the number of traffic signal mast arm poles was reduced to minimize conflicts with existing utilities. Pedestrian signals were maintained also.
