School Board of Sarasota County, Florida
Background:
The Sarasota County School Board needed traffic engineering services for
the proposed expansion of the Sarasota County Technical Institute (SCTI).
The existing SCTI is located on 55 acres at the northwest corner of Beneva
Road & Proctor Road.
Existing roadway conditions were inventoried for traffic volume, traffic
signal operations and intersection geometries. Assistance through the
driveway connection permitting process was also provided. Items of
significance included the roadway realignment and traffic operations
within and outside the campus.
