Background:
Pier Park North was a proposed 399,000 square foot commercial center located on
the northeast corner of US 98 & Pier Park Drive in Panama City Beach, FL. Technical
assistance was provided to the site development applicant related to the site plan
approval and Florida DOT driveway connection permit. Items of significance included
the modification of median access on US 98, turn-lane and traffic signal modifications
to the existing signalized intersection, as well as a detailed review of the traffic
impact study.
